Personal history
Growing up, I slowly gained an understanding of oppression. I still remember when I first joined an anti-racist group, sitting in a student restaurant and suddenly grasping the idea of a structure that oppresses us, that it is not just “bad people” that are the problem.
Later, sometimes slow and sometimes with sudden bolts of understanding I gained some gender awareness. I became a member of a gender action group. I was very happy to be a part of that group, Lees verder Building Bridges – Radical Feminism and Transgender persons
Cécile Rapol is een feministe die in de tweede golf het initiatief nam om in Roeselare een vrouwenhuis en later ook een vluchthuis op te richten. Ze was tevens gangmaker van verschillende feministische initiatieven tegen geweld op vrouwen en is vandaag actief in het 
Ons tweede sofagesprek gaat over fascisme en feminisme. Jo De Leeuw, redactrice van het boek “Extreemrechts tegen de vrouwen”, gaat dieper in op de rol van vrouwen in fascisme zowel vroeger als nu. Boeiend en actueel, in een land met racistische partijen die massaal stemmen halen en fascistische groepjes zoals het NSV die erkenning en subsidies krijgen aan onze universiteiten.
